November 16, 2006 - FACT submits an application to SANDAG for New Freedom/Mobility
Management funds, for five activities associated with planning for the North County Pilot
Project, including updating and validating the STRIDE website, gathering additional
stakeholder data, and evaluation of possible locations for a call center and dispatching
software.

September 13-14, 2006 - Rob Carley and Alane Haynes attend the Community
Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Summit on Faith and Community-Based
Partnerships, Transportation for those in need, in Washington D.C.

September 7, 2006 - FACT presentation to the San Diego County Mental Health Board.

August 17, 2006 - Rob Carley updates the County Action Networks on the activities of
FACT and the expected designation of FACT as the CTSA for San Diego County.

August 9, 2006 - Rob Carley is hired to fill the position of Executive Director for FACT.

August 7, 2006 - FACT Advisory Committee members meet with Phil Monroe, Coronado
City Council, who as been asked by SANDAG Transportation Committee to be a member of
the FACT Board of Directors.

July 2006 - FACT and NCTD continue to work with SANDAG to finalize the contract for the
CTSA designation for FACT.

July 27, 2006 - Alane Haynes presented a FACT update to the Transit Alliance for a Better
North County.

July 25, 2006 - Rob Carley attends the Easter Seals Project Action National Steering
Committee meeting in Washington D.C. Rob also has an opportunity to attend an ADA
Dialogue with the Office of Civil Rights in the FTA, as part of the celebration of 16th
anniversary of the ADA legislation.

July 25, 2006 - Alane Haynes presents an update on FACT to the North County Action
Network.

July 20, 2006 - FACT Board Financial Stability Committee holds it's first meeting.

July 12, 2006 - The FACT Board meets and discusses the development of a position
description for the Executive Director of FACT. Dave Robers, Solana Beach City Council
is welcomed to the Board. The Board establishes several new committees

July 10, 2006 - FACT and the Consultants from Judith Norman Transportation Consultants
conduct a community planning meeting as part of the CTAA planning grant activities. The
meeting was held at the Oceanside Library Community Room. Over 35 people from
various agencies and programs attended the meeting, which resulted in several contacts
with agencies that are very interested in partnering with FACT. The consultants, Judith
and Heather will be developing a survey tool for assessing stake holder's interests,
resources, current transportation usage and costs.

June 22, 2006 - Floyd Willis provides the MTS Accessible Services Advisory Council
(ASAC) with an update on FACT activities and the CTSA contract proposal.

June 2006 - FACT Advisory Committee meets with Judith Norman Transportation
Consultant to help with planning the first out reach meeting for the North County Pilot
Project. This meeting will take place July 10, 2006.

June 14, 2006 - Alane Haynes presents information on FACT to the North Coastal Career
Center Action Network.

June 13, 2006 - NCTD (working with FACT) submits a proposal to the FTA in response to
the RFP for the MSAA/ITS program to develop a technology based coordinated
transportation system in San Diego County.

June 6, 2006 Alane Haynes presented a FACT update to NCTD's ADA Review Group.

June 1, 2006 - Alane Haynes presented a FACT update to the Sub Committee for
Accessible Transportation (SCAT) of the SANDAG Transportation Committee.

May 2006 - FACT Advisory Committee begins meeting with consultants who will be
completing the planning work outlined in the CTAA planning grant that FACT received in
February. This work will included meeting with and surveying all stake holders that will
be involved in the North County Pilot Project.

May 2006 - FACT and NCTD enters into negotiations with SANDAG for the CTSA contract
for San Diego County.

May 2006 - Rob Carley represents FACT at the All CAN meeting. This meeting of the four
Action Networks supported by AIS, focused on transportation in the County and included
presentations by SANDAG, MTS, NCTD and FACT.

May 2006 - The FACT Board of Directors elects Norine Sigafoose, City Council Person
from Carlsbad as the Chairperson of the Board and Bob Campbell, City Council Person
from Vista as the Vice-Chair of the Board

April 2006 - RFP is released for the MSAA (Mobility Services for All Americans)  a program
of the USDOT/FTA entitled: Demonstration of Enhanced Human Service Transportation
Models, Phase 1 - System Development and Design. The US DOT is soliciting proposals to
select up to 10 local communities to carry out detailed development and design of
coordinated human service transportation systems that utilize
Intelligent Transportation
Systems (ITS) capabilities. FACT has begun work on the RFP which must be submitted on
June 13, 2006

April 2006 - Alane Haynes is selected to participate in the International Transit Study
Program through
TCRP and Eno Transportation Foundation that takes place May 4 - May
20. The study topic is on coordinated approaches to expanding access to public
transportation. She will be studying sites in London, the Netherlands, Sweden and
France.

April 2006 - Rob Carley is invited to serve a three year term on the Easter Seals Project
Action National Steering Committee.

April 14, 2006  - FACT, in partnership with NCTD submits their proposal to be designated
as the CTSA for the County of San Diego to SANDAG.

April 2006 - FACT is featured in the Easter Seals Project Action Newsletter. Click HERE to

April 5, 2006 - FACT presents information to the Oceanside City Council on coordinated
transportation and planning for the North County Pilot Project.

March 2006 - NCTD in partnership with FACT is preparing a proposal to respond to the
RFP from SANDAG to become designated as the CTSA for all of San Diego County.

February 2006 - FACT submits Articles of Incorporation to the State of California Secretary
of State's Office. These Articles are approved on February 27, 2006, and FACT becomes a
non-profit corporation in California.

February 2006 - NCTD and FACT are awarded a $60,000 grant from the Community
Transportation Association of America for planning activities prior to implementing a
system of coordinated transportation.
